puppet-avahi

A puppet module to manage and install avahi in RedHat and Debian based servers.

It can manage the iptables firewall to open avahi ports using the puppetlabs-firewall module.

To install avahi packages and start the service:

  class { 'avahi':
    firewall => true
  }
