Puppet Nginx Pagespeed Module

This module downloads the Google ngx_pagespeed module for nginx together with nginx source code. The idea is that it may be useful in and of itself or be used with the passenger module.

Basic usage

Install nginx_pagespeed with

include nginx_pagespeed

By default, the downloads are made to /tmp, unless you specify {module_home}.

class { 'nginx_pagespeed':
    nginx_version => '1.4.2',
    ngx_pagespeed_version => 'release-1.6.29.5-beta',
    google_psol_version => '1.6.29.5',
    module_home => '/home/vagrant'
}

If using with the passenger module,

class { 'nginx_pagespeed':
    nginx_version => '1.4.2',
    ngx_pagespeed_version => 'release-1.6.29.5-beta',
    google_psol_version => '1.6.29.5',
    module_home => '/home/vagrant'
} ->
class { 'nginx_passenger':
    nginx_source_dir => '/home/vagrant/nginx-1.4.2',
    nginx_extra_configure_flags =>  '--add-module=/home/vagrant/ngx_pagespeed-release-1.6.29.5-beta'
}

I didn't abstract some assumptions about the extracted folders as they are beyond my control as well, i.e. ngx_pagespeed module would be at ${module_home}/ngx_pagespeed-${ngx_pagespeed_version} and nginx would be at ${module_home}/nginx-${nginx_version}.
